Quality Control
Quality control at every stage
A soap base is only as good as its most inconsistent batch. Our quality system checks materials before they enter production, monitors every batch during processing, and releases finished goods only after lab verification.
Three-stage quality process
-
Incoming material checks
Raw materials — surfactants, glycerin, sorbitol, propylene glycol and additives — are verified against specification and supplier documentation before being approved for use in production.
-
In-process monitoring
During processing we monitor temperature (kept below 80 °C), mixing and batch parameters, and pull in-process samples to catch deviations before the mass reaches the moulding stage.
-
Finished goods testing
Every finished batch is tested in our lab against the product specification and released for dispatch only when it passes. Retained samples support traceability.
Parameters we test
- 1 Appearance Visually inspected for clarity, uniformity and freedom from visible defects in every batch.
- 2 Odour Checked to be neutral or true-to-fragrance, with no off-notes.
- 3 Color Matched against the reference standard for consistent shade batch to batch.
- 4 pH (5% Aqueous Solution) Measured to confirm a mild, skin-compatible formulation.
- 5 Total Fatty Matter (% by Mass) Confirms active soap content meets the declared specification.
- 6 Synthetic Surface Active Detergent (% by Mass) Verified against the product's technical data sheet for consistent cleansing strength.
- 7 Lather in ml Measured under standard conditions to confirm consistent foam performance.
