Indicative skin benefits of the key actives in this base. Final claims should be validated against your finished-product testing and local regulations.
Camel Milk
- Rich in fatty acids that lock in moisture for dry, flaky skin
- Vitamins and antioxidants guard against premature ageing
- Anti-inflammatory action soothes acne and rosacea-prone skin
- Lactic acid exfoliates; lactoferrin and immunoglobulins support repair
Applications
- Premium camel-milk and luxury bars
- Personal care and cosmetic brands
- Private-label and contract manufacturing
- Designer, artisan and gifting soaps
Processing & handling
- Equipment: jacketed mixer (SS 304/316) with anchor/paddle low-RPM stirrer (VFD if available); all contact parts SS 304/316.
- Heating: hot water, steam or hot-oil unit. Mixer must be clean and dry — sanitise with 2% formaldehyde solution if required.
- Add flakes to the mixer. Heat with slow stirring until the soap melts, maintaining temperature below 80 °C.
- Note: heating above 80 °C may turn the product translucent or opaque. Maintain moisture content — add sorbitol / glycerin if necessary.
- Cool the mass to 70 °C. Add colour, fragrance and additives as required (colour as per BIS, Schedule Q preferred; perfume stable at 70–80 °C).
- Transfer the mass to the mould or Schist cooler.
- Stamping: cut and stamp on a manual or automatic stamper in the desired shape, then pack in cartons or shrink wrap.
